Training for London needed to increase their market share of the independent training market and be positioned as the first choice for training in the North London area. Chocolate Dog Marketing Services provided a comprehensive strategic review for Training for London (TFL), the business training division of Barnet College, one of the largest colleges of further education in the UK. We provided detailed customer insight, competitor evaluation and by working with the team to agreed a detailed marketing strategy, action plan and routemap.

The Context

The Further and Higher Education sectors were facing budget cuts due to reductions in government spending. TFL needed to generate more revenue by increasing its share of the private training provider market and provide an important revenue stream.

The Output

A detailed business review provided a marketing strategy and a series of recommendations. These focussed on increasing sales, building business relationships and communicating the high quality education and training available.
